ANGORA FIBRE

Angora rabbits are shorn every 90 days and produce approx 300gms per shear, approx 1 kg per year.

This can be blended with fine merino wool, or cotton to make a lovely product for knitting yarn. Angora fibre is blended with wool to make a fine fabric for men's suits - or for thermal underwear. It can be blended with alpaca, wool, or cotton to make a very fine high quality fabric which has a top of the range niche market.
